Comparative event-free survival rates: The 5-year symptom-free survival rates were 52% ± 0.6% and 47% ± 0.3% in the foam sclerotherapy and stripping groups, respectively, and there was no significant difference between stripping and foam+ligation groups, (Cox regression anaysis: p = 0.692, risk ratio = 1.127, %95 confidence limits = 0.514 - 0.258).
